SsangYong has revealed its new 2013 Korando Sports, which aims to bridge the gap between a commercial vehicle and a family car. This first appeared as the SUT-1 (sport utility) concept at motor shows around the world in 2011 before making its way to the 2012 Geneva motor show, production-ready.
McLaren has confirmed the McLaren P13 will arrive in 2015. The original plan for McLaren’s new range of supercars was that the 458-bashing 12C would arrive first (which it did) followed by a more affordable mid-engined car – think nearer £100k than £200k – to mop up sales from the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. But McLaren decided they should get the P1 out before the P13 so they could give their dealer network a nice halo model, and go head-to-head with LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder.
LaunchPad, the graduation show of the University of Huddersfield's Transport Design degree course, opened June 8th as part of the School of Art and Design's Graduate Show week. Huddersfield is located in northern England between Manchester and Leeds. Featuring work by the 19 students on the course, this year's graduates investigated a range of themes and produced a variety of design solutions.
